Tappy, a web based teacher assistant, is seeking part-time Curriculum Writers and Coordinators currently teaching secondary education in Florida in the following high school subjects:
Algebra
Geometry
Math Intervention
US History
Biology
English 1 – 4
Reading Intervention

Work remote with flexible hours developing curriculum for Florida high school teachers.

Requirements:
Plan and develop content for student and teacher materials.
Demonstrate strong understanding of middle school and high school (9-12) pedagogical issues and create content that aligns with state standards and other assessment criteria.
Demonstrate strong understanding of curriculum design, and create engaging, research-based content that aligns with Florida state standards and more widely used frameworks.
Work directly with contractors and copyeditors to answer content questions, provide targeted or general feedback, and ensure quality or accuracy of curriculum materials.
Complete detailed analysis of competitive materials and stay current on market trends and shifts.
Work with development, Research and Development, and marketing team members to ensure the successful use of the product in school districts in Florida.
Stay up-to-date with emerging educational and curriculum trends.
Qualifications:
At least 2-4 years of experience writing, editing, building curriculum or teaching in an academic setting.
A bachelor’s degree or higher in education, curriculum design or development, or other related fields.
Excellent writing and editing skills and the ability to produce quality work in a timely manner.
Familiarity with an array of state standards and the framework for curriculum in grades 9 through 12.
The initiative to share ideas, identify great stories, and propose concepts for future development.
