Tappy is designed
with the teacher in mind
Tappy is all about putting teachers first. We know that you are the main reason students have success in their education. You need the support, tools, and motivation in a much more efficient and effective way. Tappy is designed to be an easily adoptable teaching assistant that’s affordable and improves teachers’ lives. With easily shareable lesson plans, districts and departments can improve data driven instruction and teacher cross collaboration more efficiently. Imagine getting instant feedback from your lesson so you can close the learning gap immediately. You’re no longer waiting on data from last week, last month, or even last year. You’re getting data every day, and your students are telling you how well they’re learning instantly. This allows you to make real-time adjustments designed to keep you in the flow of your classroom.
Our mission is to put every teacher first, helping teachers with a digital assistant that strategically plans lessons, organizes administrative tasks, and maximizes peer-to-peer collaboration, improving work/life balance and enhancing student learning experiences.
Make life easier!
Eric C. Smith, Ph.D.
With decades of listening to teachers, Dr. Eric Smith knows their pain. He has observed thousands of classroom lessons in 200+ schools, collaborating with hundreds of faculty throughout all content areas. He has served large public and private schools, in both secondary and higher education environments. Opportunities in curriculum design, creation of professional development trainings, academic journal publication and manuscript reviews, and instructional practice and feedback enhancement, have afforded him a versatile and diverse perspective on teaching in the 21st century. His unique, educational experiences were the inspiration behind Tappy. Knowing their struggles, he built Tappy as a true help to teachers, with an actionable path in making teaching less complicated.
